Watch and count together
Watch with a parent or carer. Pause when a character asks a question, leave time for an answer and count aloud together. There is no need to finish the whole video in one sitting.
Can you find three things that are the same colour?
Try it away from the screen
Place three blocks on a table. Move one block at a time as you say one, two, three. Mix them up and count again. Ask: did the number of blocks change?
Follow your child’s pace. Repeat a smaller group if they want another try.
